Privacy Policy
MarketBrief / Market Counterpoint — effective August 30, 2026
Who we are
MarketBrief is a research automation tool operated by its developer.
It publishes filing-based research videos to the operator's own
YouTube channel. Contact: marketcounterpoint@gmail.com.
Data we collect from visitors
None. This site is informational only: no accounts, no forms, no
cookies set by the application, no analytics operated by us.
Google user data
MarketBrief uses the YouTube Data API for exactly one purpose:
uploading videos that MarketBrief itself produced to the operator's own
YouTube channel, using the youtube.upload authorization
scope granted by the channel owner.
- What is accessed: the ability to upload videos to
the authorizing user's channel. MarketBrief does not read channel
analytics, subscriber lists, comments, or any other account data.
- What is stored: the OAuth refresh token granted by
the channel owner, kept in a permission-restricted credential file on a
private, access-controlled server owned by the operator. No other Google user data is stored.
- What is shared: nothing. Google user data is never
sold, transferred, or disclosed to third parties. The uploaded videos
themselves become visible according to the privacy setting chosen by the
channel owner.
- Retention and deletion: the stored token persists
only while uploads remain enabled. The channel owner can revoke access at
any time at Google
account permissions, which immediately invalidates the stored
token; local copies are then deleted.
MarketBrief's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to
the Google
API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use
requirements.
